Bu kurs, modern gazetecilik kariyeri için gerekli becerileri geliştirmekle ilgilenen, ana dili İngilizce olmayan kişiler için tasarlanmıştır. Bu kursta, özgün okumalar ve video dersler yoluyla basılı ve dijital medyayı keşfederken, kelime dağarcığınızı genişletecek ve yerel ve küresel haber hikayelerini okuma, araştırma ve geliştirme yeteneğinizi artıracaksınız. Ünite 1, gazeteciliğin tarihi ve ilkelerine bir giriş sağlayacaktır. Ünite 2'de nasıl araştırma yapacağınızı, sunum yapacağınızı ve röportaj yapacağınızı öğreneceksiniz. Kursun bir sonraki ünitesi gazete ve dergi makaleleri yazmak için gereken dile odaklanırken, 4. ünite haber yayınlamanın temellerini kapsayacaktır. Kursun son ünitesinde, dijital haberlerin büyümesini, etkisini ve zorluklarını analiz ederken, gazetecilik alanındaki son değişiklikleri düşünmenize ve tartışmanıza olanak tanıyan bir yansıtma ödevini tamamlayacaksınız. Derslerin çoğu İngilizce olduğu için, adayların B1 düzeyinde İngilizceye sahip olmaları tavsiye edilmektedir.
